We encourage seniors who are residents of Manchester and Essex and plan on attending college to apply for our scholarships, regardless of where they attend school.
Students may use the centralized MERHS Scholarship Application Class of 2018 to apply for a MEEF-managed scholarship. The application will be available in February, 2018. Applications are available online and via the MERHS Guidance & College Counseling Office. This centralized application provides information and access to the numerous scholarships sponsored by local organizations, families, and individuals within the Manchester Essex Regional School District (MERSD).
Scholarship decisions are made by the individual committees and are based primarily on financial need with academic achievement and quality of application used as additional considerations. Some committees award money to the student directly while others send funds directly to the institution to which the student is matriculating. Many of these scholarships are second semester awards that students can access once they have successfully completed the first semester of their freshman year and provide proof of enrollment for second semester at the same institution. All graduating seniors should apply!
